I pull out the printer, put paper in it and the laptop prints via Bluetooth. This printer works exceptionally well. The battery allows me to carry it in a wheeled computer case with my laptop and not have to carry power cords. The process is simple, compact, and professional looking. I would only consider the version with the battery and Bluetooth added.
I don't really use this for on-the-go printing, but it's still a really nice printer. It's small, and it's easy to use, so no complaints here.
The prints look good for now but I'm wondering how long that will last.Comments: HP was a name to be trusted way back when. HP support was no help at all - they suggested I download the driver from the HP web site and reinstall it (already tried that).
Bluetooth was a snap to get up and running. Pros: Compact little printer works great right out of the box.
Overall the hardware looks great - just what I've come to expect from Chinese electronic imports these days.Cons: I've been unable to get the HP Toolbox to work on any of my three XP-SP3 machines. Supports SPP Bluetooth profile despite what the manual claims.
Leather sleeve was a bit tight when I first put it on but that seems to have loosened up a bit. No Toolbox means there's no way to align the print heads.
These days they can't even get a printer driver to work right.
I like it becaus I have mine own equipment in school instead of using the computers for everyone.
I find the reviews really helpful. Somewhat surprised that it must be taken out of your carry-on luggage when going through security at the airport.
Printed out over 100 pages with no problems. Good quality.
Was really valuable to have on a recent business trip. Only con is weight -- but manageable.
Easy to operate. Nice carrying case.
Would recommend to others.BTW this is my first written review of any product that I have purchased on amazon.com And I have purchased many items here and have had zero problems. Keep up the good work, staff of amazon.com.
